Joseph Bugos lost 75 lbs. with P90X. Here’s the story that he shared with the Beachbody Challenge contest.

Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I didn’t work out or eat healthy, and I felt bad about myself because of it. I didn’t have self-confidence or like the person that I saw in the mirror.

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I finally got sick of myself and decided I needed to make a drastic change if I wanted to truly love the person I saw in the mirror.

What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
Eating right! The program helped me gain discipline by working out every day, and that translated into making good dietary decisions.

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
The structure. Knowing what was coming was good for me and allowed me to keep on track with my goals.

Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I am most proud of losing 75 pounds to get back to my high school weight. I am also much more muscular than I’ve ever been.

How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am more disciplined, not only in my personal life but in my professional life as well. I have more self-confidence, and that has led to being a happier person overall.
