Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I have always felt overweight, but I got to a point where I was really discouraged. I had terrible heartburn, my joints were always aching, and at 28 years old, I thought I was way too young for that to be the case. After I finished T25, I was ready for a new challenge. I had gotten to a place where I felt better about myself, but knew I had more work to do!
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
My girlfriend, now fiancée, and I both used to be very fit and active, and decided it was time!
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
Simple things involving my knees. Running was something I always enjoyed but just could not do. I ran my first half-marathon in July and am now ready to train for another one!
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
I liked the 25- and 30-minute workouts a lot. Being in the middle of some major life changes, this was a great way to get a workout done every day.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I am most proud that I have been able to throw away all of the extra-large shirts I was forced to buy last summer. I am also proud that running is now easy to me.
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am finally running again and that is a huge step forward. It is great to hear people congratulate us both a lot!
